The short version

This site shows our candles and lets you buy them on Amazon. We do not take payments on this site, and we do not ask you to make an account. We collect only what is described below.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It records things like the pages you view, roughly where you are, and what kind of device you use. We use it to improve the site, not to identify you.

Analytics sets cookies. Where the Amazon purchase button appears on this site, Amazon's own script may set cookies too, as described below. We do not set advertising cookies of our own. You can block cookies in your browser settings, and the rest of the site works the same without them.

The contact form

If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and your message, together with the IP address and browser details your device sends with the request. They are stored in the database service we use for support requests and used to handle your request. We do not sell them or add you to a mailing list.

Checkout and shipping on Amazon

Where the Amazon purchase button appears on this site, Amazon's script loads on the site and the checkout runs in Amazon's hosted checkout, under Amazon's privacy notice. Where you use the Buy on Amazon link instead, you finish the purchase on amazon.com. Either way, payment, delivery and returns run on Amazon under its own privacy notice, and we do not receive your card details. When you buy through the Amazon purchase button on this site, Amazon shares with us the order details needed to fulfill and support that order, such as your name, email address and shipping address; when you buy on amazon.com, Amazon handles the order and we see only what Amazon shows sellers.
